SATURDAY'S DINNER
Hey, I love food. And this dinner has traditionally been a really social event. Alex is a stunning, stunning, original, creative chef. And there will be a -lot- of food. I can't say enough about this meal, but I've said quite a bit over here.
THE MAD SCIENTIST'S LAB
A devious improv game. With lots of audience participation. And possible bondage.
CULT MOVIE DOUBLE FEATURE in THE MOVIE PALACE
We aren't showing all that many cult movies in the main spaces at the Overnight - I haven't even decided which two will be in this double feature (suggestions are welcome!). More cult movies will probably be shown in one of the hotel rooms by an afficianado of the genre. (Gotta find one.) So what I decided was, with the ones we do have, I'd like to really heighten the experience. With that in mind, we're going to temporarily translate one of the main rooms into our own odd version of an old-time movie palace...for your viewing pleasure.
THE "CAMPFIRE"
...latenight gathering around the warm glow of a fake fire
and doing
something...sort of resembling the campfires of your imaginary childhood.
Sort of.
GODDESS DOLLIES PUPPET SHOW
Starring the dollies of www.GoddessDollies.com
DAVID W. JACOBSON
POTENTIAL TRIP, ON FRIDAY, TO ROCKY HORROR
I still think this is a cool idea, even though Rocky's no longer right nearby, in Edison - it's now half an hour away, in Aberdeen.
PLAYPARTIES
It goes without saying that there are no playparties as part of your admission; the legalities of charging for a playparty are sketchy. That being said.. there is quite a tendency for private playparties to spring up. Extraordinary ones. Email Jeff for invite information.
THEATRE BY ED MALIN
Of www.TemerityTheatre.com.
Ed is a very
unconventional playwright, in his themes, in his language, and in his
acting; last year's piece was a monologue about being dominated, given
by the character of a 90-year-old man.
THE SLACK ROOM
A space devoted to all things relaxing and slackish.
Fluffy pillows. Warm stuff. Massage. Beverages. Odd board games from the
'70s. Short stories. Comic books. Art.
THE ELDER GOD MURDER MYSTERY
Someone's summoned an elder god. And dinner guests keep getting taken off by the Dark Man and coming back.. changed. Better figure it out before it's too late. This will happen Friday night, with a -specially- catered meal by Alex. There will be a nominal charge for dinner.
BDSM DEMOS
Art, cunning, and skill.
THE VERY TWISTED MUSIC OF DAVID NACIN
ART BY BRUCE CARL MEYERS and SOUNDANDVISION

HOLOGROPHY BY PAUL DELONG
Could happen.
DECOR/ATION
Have you ever wanted to decorate a weird event? How about RE-decorating it while it was happening?
THE ROCKY HORROR RITUAL SHOW
Are you familiar with Rocky Horror, perchance? Are you familiar with the odd and devious things we do to it? Come and see, come and see.
APPEARANCE ALTERATION
Come make folks look different.
"ASH", A MUSICAL BY JEFF MACH
Jeff's one-man musicals are brilliant. He wrote a new one just for this event, dealing with tricksters, love, obsession, and pyromania.
CATHERINE MOON
One of the tri-state area's most renowned singer-songwriters, and odd enough that she somehow wants to associate with us. www.catherinemoon.com
CHANGELING LARP
Or...a variant on a Changeling Larp.
AUDIENCE PARTICIPATORY `AIRPLANE: THE MOVIE'
Presented in feel-around.
MILK, COOKIES, AND HORRIBLE THINGS
THE SATURDAY MORNING THAT JUST WOULDN'T DIE
Chocolated-frosted sugar bombs and strange old cartoons.
THE I-CAN'T-BELIEVE-I'M-AWAKE-YET SUNDAY BRUNCH
This is not technically included at the event, or in the ticket price, this involves shambling downstairs on Sunday morning, bleary-eyed, around 12:30, and stumbling into the hotel restaurant. Again, BRUNCH NOT INCLUDED in ticket price... so either expect to buy brunch, or get really chummy with somebody wealthier than you are.
